Spot on with Morrissey. The rest are wrong. Good efforts. Nobody has spotted the gargantuan hint yet.

Well ,I have just had a wee laugh to myself. I googled Countdown to see if I could find out why it is not the answer to no.8.
As an avid watcher of the programme for many years I have often wondered why the winners of eight games on the trot were called oxochamps. Now I know, it's my ears at fault again, they are octochamps  Sounds very obvious I know but I just thought it was a quaint wee term that they used for them.

I'm still none the wiser as to the answer to the question though. :?

Seriously, I haven't a scoobie about any of those questions never mind the answers. Do you have to be over 30 to understand them?

Updated scores put Gilo in the lead with Poppy nipping his heels.

Questions 3, 4 and 7 still unanswered, so still everything to play for this round.

Well, it was on every day at a regular time - surely that means it was broadcast in episodes?! And always ended with cliffhangers! (Will she move? Will the scary clown come to life and bite her hand off before going off on a rampage? Who'll win noughts and crosses?)

I couldn't get any of these right.

No, but this is a better guess than 3-2-1.

Of course it's Ovaltine, how annoying, wouldn't have a clue about the others though.
