Point.

It's Bucho and his brother - they have a painful conversation where Bucho spits at him that there were 2 ways out of their village - become a priest or become a bandit.

"You chose your way and I chose mine - mine was harder"

Cleopas

Post by Cleopas » 01 Jul 2006, 00:30

Number 2 ... Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone!!!

When Harry looks into the Mirror of Erised with Dumbledore present!!

Am I right??? Please let it be right!!!

Number 5 ... Star Wars ... the FIRST movie.

I KNOW this one's right! There's only TWO Carries I can think of and one was the Stephen King book/film of the same name "Carrie" ... and if it ain't that ... it HAS to be Carrie Fisher!!!

Don't recall it exactly ... but there's an exchange between Luke and Princess Leia and he calls her "Carrie" ... was it the trash compactor??? :)

1. / 3. / 8. / 9. are real puzzlers ...

Here goes ...

1. A druggie movie?? Trainspotting??? Somehow I don't think so ...

3. Oh I don't know ... Pirates Of The Caribbean (Got my tickets booked for next Friday! )

8. ... According to the clue ... could it be something like a Vietnam film ... Apocalypse Now ... or Full Metal Jacket???

9. ... Ronin maybe?? Or Leon??? Godzilla??? Can't get Jean Reno out of my head for some reason!

Probably everything's sodding wrong. Fecch ... I'm going to bed. Night-night ....

Sorry - updated.

Mastermind - classic seventies board game :

http://boardgamecentral.com/games/mastermind.html

One player chooses the combination and the other guesses it. When you guess the right colour but put it in the wrong position, you get a white peg.

I don't go to the pictures anymore. Too many distractions i.e. other people, talking, moving about, answering the phone, rustling papers and generally annoying me.

And I object to being almost physically pinned back in my seat by the volume of the soundtrack.

I'm waiting for part 2 of the radio quiz. 8)
