The continued insolence of Cleopas has led to him having one point removed. (Not only is the Donald Sutherland Bodysnatchers remake quite good - I even like the one with Meg Tilly, Gabrielle Anwar and Forest Whitaker. So nyeh.)

May I suggest that this Quiz Stats be made a sticky so it doesn't get lost ... and also delete the unnecessary posts (including this one) and leaving just the stats which Dada updates frequently??

I tend to give everyone a point, even if they repeat what someone else has answered. I'm just a warm and fuzzy person at heart

Still place names ... but with a little twist. I also setting up a Comics Quiz ... and another place-names like you've taken part in already.

I just need to be told when it can go up ... keeping in mind that therre are others might have quizzes they want to do too. I don't mind waiting my turn again. Gives me time to work out another!

I didn't plan it!

I was coerced by the non-Friday-nighters to put it up last night instead of today as planned. You want to take it up with anyone ... take it up with them!

I do have two other quizzes in the wings ... but I need a break from it myself ... so I'm not putting them up for a few days at at least!

Cleo, only you are capable of getting docked a point and saying you don't care about getting the point docked or about quizzes and then subsequently making up your own excellent quiz and asking for the docked point back, then when you get it saying you wouldn't have given it to yourself!

Cleopas, I have not participated in this as I have to be in the right frame of mind, however i must congratulate you pn the success of the quiz and kick-starting the board again. I genuinely hope your cookware is not coming under too much pressure.

Can I just say ... I don't think I have "kick-started the board" at all ... Since I came on board I've been amazed at how healthy and alive this forum is compared to others I've been on ... and long may it continue.

And I'm not taking anything from Dadaist, who does brilliant quizzes that leave me gasping at his depth of knowledge. HE'S the one who you have to look to for the success of the quizzes and inspiring me to make my contributions. I just do stuff most of you know or can guess at, albeit circuitiously ... You want the real meat, you take on Dadaist's brilliant competitions. I don't know a lot of what he's into ... but, it's really good and more gritty than what I do

But please don't credit me with "kick-starting" anything ... your admin and mods have done and are constantly doing what keeps this board going as well as it does. All credit to them. I'm just a contributor, albeit one with a
gimmick in that I can make up daft clues.

Sorry ... off the soapbox now ...

*highly embarrassed*

Can we return to normal programming now please ...

Oh ... and my cookware has always been somewhat cracked!
