Community Projects needed

Hi there folks, having seen the post about cleaning up Rosefield Park got me thinking. I'm a leader with the Boys Brigade and we have a group of boys who are undertaking Duke of Edinburgh's Silver Awards and need some community work to get involved with.

Each has a minimum of 30 hours over 6 months (About an hour a week) to complete. If you have any deserving causes (which 16/17 year olds may be renmotely interested in) please let me know.

I think we know of a small site on the corner of Marlborough Street that badly needs some attention.

Or perhaps they could remove the flyposters from the vacant shops?

Any other suggestions?
