I do appreciate out administrator (honest guv - even though I have to say that before he starts Stalinist tendencies vis Iraq thread) but I appreciate the SSP shop even more.....had to put a reply or else there's no telling what Surrealist will do next! love the pic of chester and the new babe though - hope they are getting on - if you haven't seen it yet go to Pet Pictures thread for a treat.....Carla

I wouldn't blame Bob if he gave up on the Forum, considering the current criticisms that are being posted , but I sincerely hope he continues to give so much of his own time to support this site .
It can be diificult to be a volunteer like Bob. Many of us are benefitting from his efforts and without him this place would either not exist or be a lesser place. He ought to be appreciated.
However, a balance has to be struck. Bob has stated that, although he has been challenged, he won't go to any great lengths to justify his actions. He doesn't have to, all he need do, is point out the site rule that vindicates his recent decision to delete the thread/post. If he can't, it places him above the law and in my view diminishes the POF.
This does not mean that Bob should be vilified. It is unlikely Bob is an experienced site administrator and he is on a learning curve. Everyone makes mistakes. The best thing to do is acknowledge ones mistakes,it is likely everyone shall forgive and forget.
