In my works diary I have an appointment tomorrow at 12.00p.m. which says "Go for a walk." This is not a joke. It has something to do with my work place wanting a healthy award. Not only that but the administrator had to take outside instruction on how to walk, to pass it on to me and other staff.

I mean come off it.

There is a Health & Safety course we have to go on here which includes manual handling.

They show you how to get something out of a cupboard, and also how to pick up a bit of paper from the floor.

Not many people have gone on the course - this could perhaps be because the sheet that was being passed round was dropped and nobody was qualified to pick it up.

Sounds a bit like B.T Mr. BM used to work for them and they were rather like that, a course for everything

Not really, we were going to meander down the water of Leith.
However I did cycle to and from work today and seeing as work is almost in Roseburn I think that counts.

The rain did have its uses as it meant I was less likely to get gobbed on/shot at coming home along innocent cycle path. Also it was great for popping snails.

Does swerving to get them significantly increase your travel time and do you do worms too?

Worms get stuck in the tread with no satisfactory noises. If you get enough snails the noise becomes a kind of crackle. I nearly managed to kick a bunny up the arse but it just dived into the undergrowth.
