That's the way to do it!

After much sculpting and sewing, Granty has finished creating Mr Punch, and has just taken him on his first foray into Porty society. I was armed with my camera to get some shots of the wee man:

Mr Punch!

Ok, I looked at some museum Toby puppets, and he appears to be a variety of breeds, often all at the same time

He is also a very lucky dog as he (and Mr Punch) are traditionally the only two characters left alive at the end of the performance. Good family entertainment :D

Thanx, Mamba. It's a while since I've tried anything arty, so I found the trial and error stuff quite theraputic. Mr Punch was actually made for an exhibition at a design company called, Flesh. If any Porty-ites are passing 7 Barclay Terrace near Bruntsfield - a wee side street near the Golf Tavern - pop in and visit him.

Toby, in Jack Russel form I think, will follow.

We shall try and make the effort to see this. Know where the Golf is from student days
I'm impressed with the time and effort put into Mr Punch. Will he be on view down our wayat all?

Contact details for 'Flesh' are www.fleshltd.com.

It's an odd name for a company. The guys used to phone me at work and my colleagues always looked a but bemused when they handed the phone over!

There's loads of stuff by local artists on the walls. Say Ali *(Granty) sent you.
