Hi everybody (and JP [thanks for the mention] also Bob for passing info). Well ... I'm back at last. The house move was a NIGHTMARE ... fights with sellers, lawyers, movering firm, hired decorators, blah, blah, blah ... I need to kill few of them!

Then my computer decided to pack up completely and six weeks later, got the major rebuild finally done!!

I'm going to catch up on forum matters ... then if you would all like me to ... I'll post up a new Place-Name Quiz!

While offline, I've been thinking up some more awful as well as the more straightforward clues ... and of course ... all these places REALLY exist!

So ... what you all been up to??? I'm off for a read ... Lemme know when (if) you want the quiz. Cheers!!!

Next week would be alright with me, except from Thursday to Monday, Mr. Arachnid and I are going to Doncaster for a long weekend, and I'd hate to miss anything!!!

Hi welcome back

I have not been upto much,the wee one is swimming for the Lothians through in Glasgow on Wed.so we have just spent alot off time at the pool.

She is doing really well now infact today she swam 600 metres and we had to tell her to stop.

While offline I was searching through my old travelogues, diaries and maps with a powerful magnifying glass and supply of pens and paper ... I have enough ammo for at least another 30 quizzes!!!!

Expect to be enthralled again!!!

Like I said elsewhere, I'm not a socialising person and I'm not good with alcohol ... sorry, but pub crawls aren't me ... cos it wouldn't be so much a crawl as a drag ... honestly ... two pints and I'm eight sheets to the wind.

Toolong Gong is in Malaya near Kuala Lumpur I believe! Was that a "subtle" hint??

I'm choosing the first 30 questions tonight for the next place-name quiz! Honest!
