We need to start learning the words to Auld Lang Syne if we're going to sing at the bells again..

I've got a sack of firewood laid out for the next bit though :D

Oh come on, they have to be *whisky* chocolates for hogmany, even if on Porty's tropical sandy beach.

I hope you're getting that festive home brew ready..

I haven't thought that far ahead! Looks like we'll be around, though and if we don't have the weather for the beach there's always my house. I've still got Epykat's Tesco wine carrier, Mr Epykat's hat and Bob's wineglass from last New Year

Don't really fancy it myself the way the weather is just now, but a quick dash down the road for midnight, a soggy sausage, a plastic cup of sparkling wine and I'll be open to any reasonable offer.

It'll need to improve a bit before I'd want to drag kids out into a wind like this. :?

I'm not going over my door for the next two days. Not because of the weather, but because I intend to get myself blind drunk quite deliberately :D

I just wanted to trundle down to the beach to watch the fireworks over the sea at midnight, drink mead by the fire, say hullo in at the pub then go back to bed, but it is seeming a little less likely now. I am still optimistic!

The candles I had laid out for the beach may yet come in handy the way the lights and screen are flickering now..
