I noticed this in recent months. Has Dadaist always been premature???
Still, when it gets here in under the hour ... Felicitations for the coming Year to everyone indeed!

It started a while back when I congratulated someone on a posting milestone early and got a flea in my ear from one of the grumps - probably ali - so since then I've made a habit of it.

Don't see what all the fuss is over this Paulo Nutella bloke. Still he's done well for himself cos he's no oil painting and he cannae sing neither.

The fireworks at the London Eye were spectacular.
My patience and patriotism last until 12.01 at which point it's either Jools or channel 851 (London BBC1) and wow - the fireworks were a knockout.

Just got back from the High Street where we brought in the New Year with the handful of other brave souls. And to quote Catz' Wheeeeeere was Bob?'
A Happy and healthy 2007 to all. I'm now going to reunite myself with my glass and guests. I'll listen out for the doorbell .....

Obviously CatzVP had more to drink than anyone else did at that point of the morning and a computer still running!
I'd echo his or her sentiments but I'd probably sprain my wrist!

I'll send him the bill for bandwidth.
Happy New (wet) Year everyone. I think we might postpone our traditional New Year promenade. I can't believe anyone ventured out last night. I gave up on the idea, watched a Woody Allen film and went to bed. Sausage anyone?

Happy New Year everyone
We spent a pleasant evening at friends with the intention of maybe going down to the beach at midnight but although it wasn't quite so wild then, we were too cosy and mellow to bother.

As the youngest Rathbonette has just rolled in and reminded me:
Happy New Year everybody

I have nothing to say and I'm going to say it.

My brother came all the way from Derbyshire for that moment of being part of a crowd on Porty High street and some of those Findlays sausages we were all promised. He is deeply disappointed and thinks it would have been a better bet to get tickets for the street party in town. Oh wait...
He's still not had any sausages. Next time you chicken out, I'll be sending him round to get you. He keep saying "where's Bob-the-Bells, then?" once we assured him you were not the chap who was there with the whiskey bottle who was
very keen to kiss all the ladies... My SIL thinks your full name is Bell Ringer Bob. Not any more though, eh?

All I really need is love, but a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt!

Happy New Year to all. I'm a little bit fragile and I think I'm going back to bed.
