Does anyone want anything from the shop?

Post by Dadaist » 24 Jan 2007, 19:58

We've run out of ketchup and I'm going to nip out to the shop.

Does anyone want anything?

Yeah - can you get me some rizlas and a pot noodle? Oh, and an elephant's foot bin while you're there.

Have you left yet? I could do with some semi-skilled milk, as my mother once famously called it.

Yeah, if you meet anyone in the shop who speaks gaelic, that would be handy.

Home again. Jiggety jig.

I took a detour for the hatstand and hacked off an elephant's foot. I scooped it out and it's currently curing in my shed. Be ready in the morning Nelly, usual fee of bottle of Laphraoig.

Gaelic dude, papers, milk, fried-up pizza (don't know if they still do them J) - forgot 'em. Got the ketchup - we were having sweet 'n' sour pork.

Single malt for a foot beats getting a pound coin for a tooth..

You only want free-range Gaelic speakers?

What's wrong with the factory-bred variety? They still speak the same language, even if they are a bit pasty.

I'm going for organic Gaelic. Probably more expensive though.

No, sadly not. Teaches at Sabhal Mor Ostaig (with a grave accent above the 'o' ) on Skye.......... from Galway, ROI

Nice one. I'll stop off at the dog and cat home on the way round tomorrow morning, and collect those dog foot egg cups and cat foot thimbles you ordered.

I'm deeply disappointed in you, Dada.....you have room for anything in your shed??? By now, you should have to put your shoulder to the door to close it.

It's a bit parky in that shed just now. It's a bit like the Tardis really - it's warmer outside.

Just wait though, it'll come into its own this summer.

Oh and also, passing my driving test meant that I'm suddenly lavishing attention on my motor - shed got sidelined like Woody in Toy Story. Car has more flashing lights.

Typical male! Looks aren't everything you know. Your shed won't let you down like your motor did in Halford's carpark, will it???

Except I'm not sure what to do with it!
