We don't do coffee in our house. We buy one jar a year for when Rathbone visits - so that'll be a no then, but thanks for the offer.
Enough of your nonsense - get back to the Play Pen!

Don't worry - me neither.
Foxy, I'm just putting my silk shorts and rollerskates on, and I'll be round in approx 7 minutes.

I was going to ask if your offer was a euphemism but think I already know the answer

Love peppermint tea. I started drinking herbal teas to avoid the caffeine as it flares my rosacea something wicked. Found it helped with my acid reflux as well.
Having said that I'm having a second cup of coffeee today.
So if anyone sees a red faced , jittery, burping, overweight wifie in the High St, wearing Doc Martens it may be me

Can see I'll have to give the peppermint tea a try!!!
I also get acid reflux and take omeprazole tablets for it.
Is it a substitute for taking the tablets or a suppliment. ( big words for me!!!)

Why be scared????

I've found that I don't need to take any tablets. I drink the peppermint tea as often as other folk drink ordinary tea/coffee and noticed I was getting less "heartburn" Can still get woken up by it after a big meal too close to bedtime etc.

Good luck with it ,Arachnid. I noticed that I was getting less of the burning sensation, though it does flare up occasionally, but hadn't started the mint tea for that, just to cut down on caffeine and was trying diffrent herbal teas, mint was the one I liked best.

I was going to try and make my own with kendal's mint cake, a hammer and some boiling water, but gave in and bought some proper ones instead. Will test their indigestion prowess after supper.

Peppermint tea is fantastic for heartburn relief. Funny thing - the cinnamon one talked about earlier always gives me heartburn. So I need to have a cup of cinnamon followed by a cup of peppermint.

I'm aghast at the number of folks on here who drink, or claim to drink, these fancy fruit and spicy teas. It's all a con, you know. They cost a fortune and all taste like cat's pee.
C'mon admit it. Most of you just probably say you drink them to impress each other and I'm sure some of the flavours that you talk about are completely made up.
Bet you all just drink Tetleys.
Anyway this is meant to be a thread for coffee requests so take your teas to the "What are you drinking thread?".
Let's have some discipline around here people.
I'll have a strong filter coffee please - hold the marmalade.

Not at all, and you wouldn't be saying this if you tried the Fair Trade Organic Ginseng and Kumquat with Madagascan Vanilla.

Yeah, get off my thread. Tea sucks. And all tea drinkers are wankers.
