tips for the school holidays

Kids getting under your feet? Are they hogging the Playstation? Still weeks to go and bored out of their skulls? What they need is some fresh air. Take a look at our guide to family days out, in and around Edinburgh at:

http://porty.org.uk/planet/index.php?ti ... ilyDaysOut

and why not post your own suggestions here?

Don't forget to check what's happening for kids at the library over the summer in our What's On page, and follow our links to the Community Centre, Swim Centre etc for details of what they have to offer.

Ban all kids from being where adults are - herd them all up and dump them in the countryside somewhere in Devon or Cornwall, or even that wee village in "The Prisoner".

Holidays are wasted on kids - in fact anything's wasted on kids, they're just wee plonks!

Deport them all to Australia - roll on "Back to School" - peace and quiet at last!

Good grief what a Summer!!!!

Sorry, just lost it for a moment - they just can't leave the pebbles/chips at my door alone!!

One day genetic engineering will have them born at 25, now there's a vote for GM foods and cloning.?
