Does anyone know if there are any plans for more direct buses to go from Portobello/Joppa to Little France?
The 32/32A takes 40 mins on a good day whereas going by car takes 15 mins. Alternatives are 42 to Craigmillar crossroads and 20 mins brisk walk up past the castle and down the hill (total ~ 30 mins); or 42 to Cameron Toll, short walk to bus stop on Old Dalkeith Road (with no shelter) and second bus to Little France (20-25 mins).
Returning the buses are often not on time.
