I just counted a massive 46 messages that were posted on Sat 24. At one time we were lucky to get 10 posts a week. There is no doubt that the board is busier than ever, with more regular posters, more views and more lurkers coming out of the closet. It's a virtuous circle because more posts make the board more lively and interesting, which in turn attracts more views and more posts etc.
