Acorn getting their window all dressed this afternoon with a christmas display, surely the first on the High Street.....they've only just taken down their halloween display.lol

We could ofcourse open up this thread to include Granton... :lol:

And if we are moving away from the High Street there is a flat in Mount Lodge that also has their xmas decorations up, noticed that the other day.

To keep it in Porty then, we've had an Xmas tree on top of our freezer since last year and the year before :lol:
We have a cardboard skeleton lives in our hall all the time, not just Halloween .


Can anyone else mind the house in Bellfield St that used to have a tree in the upstairs window all the year round?

I noted this morning that the lights are up on those poles outside the Toon Hall. Must have went up last night as im sure they werent there on my way home from work yesterday at 5pm.

were going up as I went past at 10 am yesterday morning, you must have been half asleep on the way home :lol:

Coming home tonight at 17:05 I noticed that the decorations arnt lighten up. I wonder what time they come on? They were are sparkly this morning at 7am yet not on at 5pm when there are loads of people about & its really dark so would stand out more.

The ones outside the Town Hall were lit as I came past
The rest were dark
