That is very sad indeed. I saw him many years ago, think it was the Playhouse. From what I recall he was out in the foyer selling albums an T-shirts at the intermission and at the end.

I saw him first at the Queen's Hall back in the late 1970's , but most recently in August 2005 when he played at the Morar Feis na Mara , in a wee tent to about 30 of an audience. His rendition of May You Never sounded just as sweet despite the intervening years. RIP. :(
