roller blinds

Post by Mimpty » 09 Aug 2004, 17:40

I need to replace my roller blinds (been in the house for 11 months now - so it's about time I did something).
The Cloth Shop can't seem to be bothered returning my calls and John Lewis seem a wee bit expensive. Can anyone recommend a reliable and reasonable firm?

We've used Hillary's a few times. http://www.hillarys.co.uk/.

I'm sure you can get cheaper, but we've always been impressed by the quality, and found the prices reasonable.

I can agree with Alex on this. Quality and service both very good.

Thanks to everyone who responded and apologies for my delay in responding - very rude. Went on hols v. soon after writing.
Hilary's came and gave me prices as did The Cloth Shop. I eventually went with the Cloth Shop as they were considerably cheaper.

Sandra, you might want to try them first.

Sandra,

They are at 169 Bonnington Road. (That's the corner of Bonnington Road and Pilrig Street). The phone no. is 554 7733. The lady who measures for the blinds is called Elaine. She arrives with her sample book and there is no pressure on making a decision right then.

I have a bay window and had 3 blackout blinds made to measure for £245 approx. although this includes a 10% discout for being council staff.
Hilary's would have charged over £300.

Hope this is helpful.
