Exactly 13 years ago I was married in Duddingston Kirk. Like DG, our wedding photos were taken in Dr Neil's Garden. Our reception was in the Roxburghe Hotel and we spent our wedding night in Borthwick Castle before jetting off for a couple of weeks in Greece.
Thirteen happy years and two kids later we're still together. Happy wedding anniversary Froglette!

I knew the date rang a bell. But it's cool, I'm going to whip up a quick fillet steak with porcini mushrooms and madeira, and a few tiger prawns fried in garlic, a couple of glasses of wine, a quick meeting and then straight home.
Damn, I've no creme fracihe! Can anyone help me out here? And how do you do a grave about the 'e'?

Congrats and from the pic, you are not who i thought you were. The mysteries are getting ridiculous. Enjoy your evening and watch out for the neighbours.

bit of a coincidence, Dadaist and I were married in Duddingston Kirk too and had our reception at the Roxburghe
Could it be that Bob and Dadaist are one and the same? Both got married at Duddingston Kirk, receptions at the Roxburghe and both have a daughter called Emily. Can I join the conspiracy theorists yet?
Thank you all for your kind regards

And isn't it odd that you never see them both at the same time.
Happy anniversary!

Happy Anniversary, Marya.
How was your steak? Has hubby done enough to be forgiven yet?

Froglette reckons that he's gone out for a rump steak supper. But look, in order to save your marriage, and prevent you from having a fag, we've got a dressed lobster in the fridge. Shall I bring it over?

Wodja mean? It's not our anniversary. The pressure's all on Marya's hubby. I'm in the clear until next August or whenever it is.

Coincidentally - just this afternoon Mr E and I saw a bride going into St. John's and I said "What idiot gets married in October? Guaranteed crap weather" and lo and behold I come on here and find one!

Did it rain on your October day Marya?

Epykat, if you have an especially long memory, you will remember that you attended my wedding on a bright, crisp October day. It didn't rain then either.

Oops! Sorry, forgot about you two!

I was very young at the time (13?) but I do remember being freezing in the church. You'd think all that swaying about trying to keep upright on my incredibly high wedges would have kept me warm eh?
