Techie Question - Photo Galleries

Does anyone know a free and easy-to-use photo-hosting site that will let you hot-link? I'm thinking of what would be the easiest way to post images or avatars on the forum without bothering with FTP etc...

www.photobucket.com does that - I had a brief spell (sub 1 week) with them before I decided to try out PBase, and eventually paid up for their $23 a year...

If it works ok , ask bob to make anouncement to encourage others to use it to post pictures on the forum, and therefore lighten the ever increasing bandwidth load

I thought everyone (except Bob I guess) had their photos on external sites?

The reason for the question was to do with the FAQs the mods are working on... So xxxx we will be drawing up an FAQ for the reasons you say.

Wangi, both Bob and I host pictures for other forum members, and are quite happy to carry on doing that, but it would be easier for memebers without their own space if they could use an indepnedent hosting service.

Excuse my ignorance, I didn't know what the arragements were. I'm just wondering how we get through 800 megs transfer a week
