I thought a thread on favourite Festival shows would be interesting.
I recommend these shows:
Adam Hills - comedy, Assembly Roomns 19.30
Chris Addison - comedy, Pleasance, 19.00
Macbeth, Gateway Theatre, 20.00
and these films:
Ae fond kiss - Ken Loach
Zelary, Czech director
Edinburgh Festival - favourite shows

I have to admit that once again the festival is passing me by - the children have been to see the circus on the meadows (unimpressed, to young for it) and a puppet show that I cant remember the name of, so not much help from this quarter!
Maybe we'll get to see more when we don'y live in the centre any more! Or maybe we need to wait until the children get oldre and we get new jobs so we can afford the prices...

Amen to that! And afford a babysitter...mr magnolia wrote: Maybe we'll get to see more when we don'y live in the centre any more! Or maybe we need to wait until the children get oldre and we get new jobs so we can afford the prices...
The younger children's shows were all sold out, and the older children's chows wer sold out for the time Edinburgh kids were still off school. Plenty of tickets available for children not from here though, which always seems ridiculous to me.
We had free tickets to the circus but couldn't make it - and toby hates the circus anyway - again, too young. And we had free tickets to the Ladyboys. Otherwise, we've given it a miss completely this year.
All I really need is love, but a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt!
