Congratualtions to Marya, who now joins Bob, Porty and ecm in achieving the exalted status of portypotty. Perhaps we now need to start thinking about recalibrating the rankings, so that the top rank applies only after 1000 posts?

Bob, you could just add another category after Portypotty, and make it harder to achieve. It's a bit unfair on the rest of us coming up behind, to recalibrate - NOT that I post on here just to achive 'porty' status!

Or you could create a level playing field by having the system display everyones No. of posts as nil.

No ranks, no badges, no indication of how many legs you've got.

What about an internal market of buying and selling blocs of posts. Corruption, bribery and blackmail could all be used - so that a post count could go down as well as up and was more an indication of who was "in favour" at any given moment.

I'll buy 100 posts off Porty for Ã‚Â£2.
