Exciting evening class

Post by Gedge » 30 Sep 2004, 09:23

Last night I went along with a bit of trepidation to the first night of an evening class "Stained glass, glass painting and papier mache". It kind of looked interesting. Had a brilliant time cutting up glass, soldering it together and adding coloured bits. I'd never done anything like this before. Not sure where the papier mache comes in but it seems like a really good thing to do now the nights are drawing in. Nice atmosphere. Friendly, inspiring, flexible tutor person.

Unfortunately there weren't enough people there to run the class. Anyone fancy it? Or know someone who might?

It's Wed nights 7 til 9 at the Duncan Place Resource Centre near Leith Links. I think we're looking at around £50 (perhaps a bit less) for the 10 weeks (I suppose that is 9 now)

Get back if you're interested or know someone who might be. I really enjoyed myself.

It sounds really good, Gedge. I hope you get enough to carry on. Sadly, I just can't manage it.
