Deputy Mayor of Porty

Post by Jamesie » 02 Oct 2004, 03:13

Definitely needs to be a deputy for when Javid is busy.

Names that I'm throwing in the ring right away are David Li from 108 Chinese Takeaway, Graham Kitchener from Kitcheners Deli, and Bernadette Heron. Paul from Buddy's can have another shot too.

Nominations close at 8pm Sunday night, with polls open 7am-10pm Monday.

Posting when you've just got in is great.

I think that the 108 guy is an inspired choice for deputy mayor.

I'm not so au fait with which one Paul from buddys is? If it's the shaggy haired dude from the barber shop - he's far too cool to be a deputy mayor.

Yes, there have been a few interesting, nay, inspired posts made in the wee, small hours.

Sometimes there has even been alcohol involved!

Anyway, good night last night, Jamesie? What about yourself for deputy?

I really worry about Jamesie. 3:13 am and Paul from Buddys floats into his mind.

It definitely has to be Andrew or James from Woodwares since they are the lifeblood of Portobello. Alternatively we could have James or George from Allans the Chemist. Or what about Dr. Reid? Or better still, Dr. Ferguson since he was born and brought up here, went to PHS and still lives in the area?
