Watching Barry Manilow, excuse me, Barry Manilow is on TV at the moment and he just sang the Donna Summer classic Could it be Magic. I recall being a bit horrified when I learnt he had written it. Same goes for UB 40's Red Red Wine, a Neil Diamond opus.

I was surprised that Hector Nicol wrote both the "Glory Glory to the Hibees" and "Hearts, Hearts".
