National Customer Service Week - October 4 - 10 2004

For those of you who didn't know, October 4 - 10 2004 was National Customer Service Week.

Those of us who work with the public (myself included - I have a small IT business in addition to the 9-5) will understand how crucial it is to keep our clients happy. I'm sure it's not just Porty on the board who has a direct client-facing role, but let's celebrate good service.

I recommend the website to anyone - it also highlights how Customer Service continues over the weekend, which is why National Customer Service Week ran right through until Sunday.

Hey, that website mentions Tameside College - my brother just fiished studying there!
Sorry - brief homesick moment. They don't last long. I usually wake up to reality quite quickly  .

Sorry you got homesick - surely though you must know that everything you need is here in Portobello - there's a great variety of shops and cafes.

I can't help feeling there's still some residual anger there.
