Christmas in October - bah humbug

Post by Gedge » 12 Oct 2004, 18:24

Beginning of October and Christmas stuff has appeared in Scotmid and other places I'm sure. I can close my eyes or look the other way but it is difficult to shop with your fingers in your ears so I would just like to say that as soon as any Christmas music is played in Scotmid I will take my custom elsewhere until mid November and I will be encouraging other forum members to do like wise.
Say something once, why say it again?
When I have nothing to say my lips are sealed

Last time I was at the hairdresser (end Aug) she said Costco had Christmas stuff, its depressing. I know we are into winter but we don't need Christmas stuff in October...

One of the Porty charity shops - the cancer research one, i think - put their christmas cards out in August. I was absolutely horrified.
But I have done some of the christmas shopping already  .
All I really need is love, but a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt!
