I am a 23 year old girl looking for a nice man who could take my mum out and give her a nice time. She is a lovely woman and has been on her own for some time now and I just think she deserves to be treated as well as she as treated other people (especially me). She likes good food, wine, animals, lovely walks, flowers and has a great sense of humour. If you have any other questions please get in touch. It's not necessary a relationship she is after but companionship also.

Aw, that's nice of you Dionne. Sure there must be some eligible men about in Portobello but unfortunately they all seem to be in the Figgate Whins!

Porty seems to have a multitude of friends registering here recently maybe he could be a matchmaker for Dionne's Mum.
They can't all be as mad as he is?

Your Mum sounds like a very lovely lady Dionne, and is very lucky to have such a caring daughter. There is a Social Club here in Edinburgh called the Single Connection which is for unattached men and women of all ages, they provide a whole range of social activities, and meet in the Why Not Club in George Street on a Tuesday. Check out their website www.singleconnection.co.uk. for further information. I have it on good authority from two or three friends of mine that it is a very good club, with lots of chances to meet members of the opposite sex.

How's about if all us attached lady members line up any unwanted men we happen to have outside the Town Hall and Dionne's mum could come along and have a look - sort of like the Dog and Cat home? We could put a wee profile of them round their neck with their vital statistics, habits, good and bad points and how much of a donation to the superstore fund we would like for them.
(it goes without saying, mine would not be there of course

If your mum likes good food and good wine , she might be better off moving to Morningside, where she just might get that,,,,, but... if she likes takeaways and Lambrini then Porty is the place for her
