Just spent the last hour catching up with the posts I missed. Realise there are one or two I probably need to answer, but briefly:
Quite a few new accounts. Have deleted 3 that looked suspect. If they are genuine please let me know. Will check with library to see if all the T-shirts have been collected. Rathbone - I'll sort postage out for yours soon. I see we have problems with our databases. Apologies for this, will try to find out what the problem is.
Better unpack now.

Hiya and welcome back.
Where have you been? Somewhere nice?
Did you wear your Porty T-shirt the whole time?

Kielder Forest - with Marya! Photos to follow. And yes I did wear my POL T-shirt, though not every day.

Welcome back, Bob. Hope you had a good time away. When you are looking into the t-shirt situation could you keep me in mind for a large if any are unclaimed? Thanks!

Funny you should mention that. I am going to give you Maureen Child's as she hasn't collected hers yet. I won't tell if you don't.
Will pm you to arrange delivery.

Bob – regarding the problems with the database which caused the forum to be unavailable.
Should we be planning some kind of contingency? I suggest meeting with Post-It notes and biros at the library so that the forum can continue.
In the event of a Portobello-wide disaster making the library unusable for leaving yellow stickies… well we need a plan.

It was the "photos to follow" bit that really worried me (especially after the "specialist" knowledge he displayed on the 'Disappointed Dog at Joppa' thread)......

I simply take a keen interest in local affairs. What's wrong with that?

Hmm, I don't know, Marya. I think we need to watch out for this guy. First he tells everyone about your secret holiday together. Then he's asked me if I'd like to go on holiday with him in January as a joint "birthday party". He's even asked me to get dressed up in my dance gear for a - ahem - private party. And all this from someone who wanders about in raincoat and wellies. How on earth does Froglette put up with him?
Still, he is kinda cute...

Well I thought our 'private party' was just that, a private affair, but since you have chosen to tell the world about it I think it is also fair to tell people that you have in fact agreed to it, in exchange for a bottle of wine. Cheapness in a girl is a much underrated virtue.

Just trying to fit in. So you'd better make it a takeaway and a bottle of Lambrini!

Should have change from a tenner. She's my kind of girl!
