Jumping up and down......

Post by Epykat » 24 Oct 2004, 12:40

in total frustration!!
Sitting a stupid ECDL exam tomorrow and have spent 2 hours going through the stupid coursework so that I could then sit the stupid diagnostic test which then wouldn't load and when it EVENTUALLY did, it told me I'd already sat the diagnostic test (which I hadn't) and couldn't sit it again til Tuesday! :x Fat lot of good that since I'm sitting the flaming real thing tomorrow morning. Wouldn't mind so much if I was being financially rewarded for my hard work but apparently I'm meant to be doing it for my own self gratification.

Thank you and goodnight :(

For those who wonder what she's on about, ECDL is the European Computer Driving License.

I can drive mine fine - it's reversing it round a corner that gets me...

But not clever enough to sort out her avatar. Epykat, I have been approached for a reference so you have 24 hours to get it sorted. And isn't it you who still has problems with quotes? Better knuckle down girl or you will be looking at a re-sit.

We couldn't see it - that's what was wrong with it. And now it's gone completely.

Tell us more about your course. Do you recommend it? How much did it cost? What benefit do you hope to get from it etc.?

Good luck with the rest of your exams and let us know how you get on.

Well I could see it fine! I've taken it off though coz I thought there was something wrong with it so now it'll take me another year to find another one that doesn't crash my machine

Yes, well..... ECDL - what can I say? Don't get a thing out of it other than a silly wee card that looks like a driving licence (sad eh? after all, I am an adult and I KNOW it's not really a driving licence  ). It's a bit of a doddle so far since you get 45 minutes to answer 35 fairly simple multiple choice questions on a computer. So, I'm not pretending to be Einstein!!! I think it cost about £60 something to sit the course but I got that paid by work and I think anybody can do it. Apparently, as the title implies, it's a European qualification, so when I get the urge to move to Normandy I can walk straight into a job
