Request for a new posting guideline

In view of the new craze for festive avatars it cannot be long before some bright spark, Bellybabe?, posts a Christmas avatar.

Whilst I do not wish to be a wet blanket, can I request that ANYONE who posts such an item prior to December 1st be severely reprimanded?

I've already, and sadly looked some out - however, agree entirely with the 'not before the 1st December' rule. Wish we could say the same for shops

Darling, whilst I appreciate that you think I'm a bright spark, I must take issue with the suggestion that I would do such a thing - especially given that I have completely ignored the festive avatars in favour of my usual - which is in fact the real me.

One takes great pains to avoid tack in this household, you know. Off to a 70s ball in a couple of weeks and will I be wearing flares, shades and ugly tops? Will I hell! I'll be wearing my best Shirley Bassey frock.
