Request for a new posting guideline

Post by Porty » 28 Oct 2004, 21:54

In view of the new craze for festive avatars it cannot be long before some bright spark, Bellybabe?, posts a Christmas avatar.

Whilst I do not wish to be a wet blanket, can I request that ANYONE who posts such an item prior to December 1st be severely reprimanded? :D      :P  :)

I've already, and sadly  :D looked some out - however, agree entirely with the 'not before the 1st December' rule. Wish we could say the same for shops :x

And don't forget Valentines Day, Mothers Day, Easter, Fathers Day and all those comparative religion festivals my children are taught about. The possibilities are endless. And we mustn't forget the Satanists either, god bless 'em.

Darling, whilst I appreciate that you think I'm a bright spark, I must take issue with the suggestion that I would do such a thing [-X - especially given that I have completely ignored the festive avatars in favour of my usual - which is in fact the real me. 8)

One takes great pains to avoid tack in this household, you know. Off to a 70s ball in a couple of weeks and will I be wearing flares, shades and ugly tops? Will I hell! I'll be wearing my best Shirley Bassey frock. :toothy1:
