St Philips Church Open Week - Tonight: Gospel Choir!

Post by MrSpoon » 05 Nov 2004, 17:25

This week, St Philips church has been having an 'Open Week' - from their own site:
A multi-media exhibition will run troughout the week within the church combining pictures, music and video on a number of large screens. A screen will welcome you as you enter the church and the exhibition will focus on four main areas: The Past; The Present; St Philips' place in the wider world and some questions for the future.

Part of this has been to run events each evening focusing on the theme of gifts, and tonight its the 'gift of gospel' - for this, my choir The Edinburgh Revelation Rock-Gospel Choir are coming along to run a 'Sing Gospel Masterclass' - a chance for you to hear us perform some of songs, and for you to learn a few to!

Starts at 7.30pm in St Philips Church and it's free! (I think!!!!) - hope to see you there :)

Hey, we'll only just be getting started then!
Hmm....a courting duel between me and Porty...should be worth seeing!

As for the gospel thing, sounds great but have they not noticed that there's a wee other thing going on? Something to do with lots of whistling...and banging...and flashing? (Hey Bob, Mr Raincoat and wellies, you could have a convention!)
All I really need is love, but a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt!
