My fate is in your hands. Choose wisely. Poll closes 10 am Saturday.

Perhaps the only person who should respond to the poll is Froglette?...
Just a thought.

But if she's ok with it, go for it!

That's me in the avatar at 17 when I first knew Bob (I'm now 43!).

And obviously I'd expect Bob's missus to be ok about. I've got no designs on him, it's purely to catch up with an old mate from way back and reminisce a bit (and btw, my other half is fine about it too).

It just shows how irresistible the prospect of a few hours in my scintillating company is...

Looks like Bob has no choice!

The 3rd option in the poll should have been:

YES - Go for it because she is a dangerous woman. 8)

No it's called looking up old mates. Bob and I are both attached to others.

It'll happen eventually, but the organisers of my school reunion keep putting the date back - hopefully in spring next year but at this rate it'll be sometime in 2010!

Although Ronnie McKinnon's sis will be welcome too!

Don't you two mind me though, I'll just sit quietly in the corner taking some notes for the rest of the gang.

Thing is Spike, you don't know what the rest of us look like and, since Bob's already invited us anyway, we could all be sitting round the pub discretely watching and you wouldn't have a clue. (just like Granty did to us the other week  )

Hmmm, maybe we should just turn into a free for all then...

If Bob's invited all of the POL community, I'll just invite all the old Edinburgh punks I used to hang out with in the 70s, thus killing too birds with one stone (translation = two boozy nights out rolled into one).

I'm feeling magnanimous right now as it looks like my ex is finally agreeing to my terms for the financial settlement for our divorce (and before you go jumping to conclusions, I was only protecting what's mine and stopping him from trying to rip off my share of the house...)

Bolly all round, then?

I have? And let's not forget Jane Bradley. I'm sure there must be a few Herald & Post readers who are interested in what used to be my private life.

Secret rendezvous sounds so much more exciting. You wouldn't like the rest of them, trust me.

Congrats, Spike - sounds like good news on the settlement.
After the day I've had, I'll happily raise a toast to your settlement!

Who's Jane Bradley???

(I'm cringing with embarrassment, btw, at the typos in my previous post - doesn't exactly advertise my skills as a freelance wordsmith. Put it down to over-excitement at the divorce news and the prospect of a piss-up in Auld Reekie...)

That's what the 'edit' button is for.

Jane is a fellow hack, monitoring our little forum for newsworthy stories. Hope you are going to bring those 'Wrong Image' fanzines with you? And a few Scars bootleg tapes? And some Hirondelle? (It is still 1977 isn't it?)
