CHRISTMAS FAYRE AND CHEESE AND WINE NIGHT

Post by dccairns » 09 Dec 2004, 16:16

I thought I would put this on the lighter side of life for those of you who might not visit the "other" side that often.

PCATS will have a stall at the Christmas Fayre on Saturday 11 December from 10 am - 12 noon in Portobello Town Hall.

On sale will be good quality bric-a-brac, home baking, including the customary parkin, and Portobello calendars. Hope to see you there!

AND

Kitcheners Delicatessen is holding a wine and cheese evening on Friday 17 December from 7-9 pm

Taste a wide variety of farmhouse cheeses, accompanied by complimentary wine and view their Christmas stock collection. All cheeses can be purchased the night plus the Christmas stock at a 10% reduction.

All profits from the ticket sales are going towards the campaign fund to fight the superstore.

I always miss your parkin  . I know I have the recipe, but still...
All I really need is love, but a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt!

Better, still, get yourself along to the Fayre tomorrow and buy a piece. We could even reserve you a bit if you like!

Have you never had a parkin piece? You've not lived.
