Tomorrow there will be carol singing from 11 am - 1 pm outside Kitchener's Deli, accompanied by mulled wine. All proceeds to PCATS.

And look out for BATS (Buskers Against The Superstore) who will be performing outside the Town Hall, weather permitting, from 11 am - 1 pm as well, joining the carol singres for a grand finale just before 1 pm.

Should get you in the mood for Christmas!

I was in Kitchener's at 11am - getting carryout coffees and scones - and while I waited one of the staff offered us all some mulled wine. I asked her if she was going to be singing - she went scarlet, looked very awkward and said 'no, I don't think so' and walked away quickly. I don't think she had a clue as to what I was talking about. Did I get it wrong too?!

I passed Kitchener's at about 11.30 and the carol singing was in full swing then, and very nice it was too. I only heard it all too briefly as I had a bus to catch.
There were some very nice sounds from the musicians playing outside the Cancer charity shop around the same time too.

We passed by on the way to another engagement at 12, but nothing was happening. Unfortunately the other engagement had to be abandoned (by me (unforeseen circumstances) - my most sincere apologies to the parties involved

) and on my way back down I saw nothing again.

Crap day all together, in fact. But I may whinge about that elsewhere...
