Magical antique shop glittery lights moment

As I was walking past the antiques shop at the top of Marlborough Street on Sunday morning the sun was shining straight onto the revolving glitter ball in the antique shop sending out beautiful patterns across the inside of the shop and the pavement. I stood fascinated for many seconds. Look out for it.

Just thought I'd share that with you.

The magnoliettes have a collection of green, silver and gold glitter balls that they hang in the sunlight from time to time and shriek with delight at the result.

I hope you were equally moved.

I too was mesmerized by the the revolving lights on the street from the glitter ball in the antique shop. Very pretty

.

I have a sparkley brooch that, unknown to me at the time of purchase, doubles up as a glitter ball if caught in the light at the right angle. All I have then to do is shake around a bit

. I may add that I discovered this while sitting at my desk at work one afternoon. The things that entertain when you're procrastinating

I had good reason to walk along the prom on Monday night / Tuesday morning, and the glitter from the street lights on the frost was amazing - if you happened to wonder what that strange guy ahead was doing walking fast/slow and then doing a little bit of running, that was me getting different glitter patterns!

By the way - do the prom lights stay on all night? They spoil the view out into the darkness ...

From time to time whole sections of the lights on the prom go out for days so there is plenty darkness then. Not so much fun when you're walking the dog and can't see what you're stepping on...... not everyone is as good as me and my friends at cleaning up

Nice looking at the sky on a clear night though.
