Time : Sat 27 August · 12:00 - 15:00
Location: Portobello Promenade
Like last year? Probably just as good but most likely even better. Grab all your friends and your guitar and your pots, pans and home made (or shop bought) maracas and head down to the Prom for a mile of beach busking.
Over a hundred buskers and well over a thousand spectators enjoyed a fantastic seaside day in the sun last year. Lets play it again.
It's an early invite but some of us'll need the rehearsal time.
Paul.

We need a team of decorators to set the prom up all beautiful on the morning of the Busk. Last year we had a crew of primary school volunteers armed with chalk colouring in anything that didn't move. A small team of art ninjas installed 100 brightly coloured birds all the way along the prom and at least one of them is still there now. Get involved, get your mates or team up with strangers.

The Busk is back next weekend, Saturday the 27th of August. It's another mile of Buskers. An open mic, al fresco, free for all and everyone's invited. Musicians, mimes breakers or ballet dancers can get in on the act just by turning up and putting on a show. Every kind of street performance is welcome and you don't need to book a place or apply for a pitch. Bring everything you need for a fun day out at the beach.
See you on the Prom.
Paul.
