Edinburgh folk choir, Sangstream, is hosting a seasonal show with songs and stories of winter, Christmas and Yuletide. Featuring Sangstream, The Cast (Mairi Campbell and David Francis), storyteller David Campbell, Hamish Moore and Towerbank school choir. 7.30pm. Tickets £8 (£3 children)
Barbara Middleton has been working with P7 from Towerbank on making lanterns, and there is a lantern-making workshop for all with Barbara at Portobello Community Centre this Saturday (12th) at 2.30 - 5.30. There is a small charge (£3 to include cost of materials) and some live music. (Children must be accompanied by an adult.)
