At the risk of getting a reputation for regurgitating what passes for reporting in the EEN, here's another probable non-story from the Evening Snooze website. I wondered if any residents of the area have had the letters as mentioned?

There is a map from 1925 which does support the comment that the power station site now has houses on it, and not the footie pitches as reported.
