Alba TV will be filming Portobello's much loved skiff (rwoing boat), 'Ice Breaker' on 9th / 10th April and the 17th April for a feature they are doing. As 50% of the programme is required to be transmitted in the Gaelic medium, we are trying to identify a local speaker who might be able to help us with this and potentially say a few words on camera. If you are that person, or know someone who is, please can you PM me.

Surely if they ask the questions in Gaelic and the replies are in English, then 50% criterion would be met?

Tollcross Primary is the Gaelic Medium school in Edinburgh and there are are bound to be one or two Porty families who send their kids there. Don't know any personally but if you contacted the school they may be prepared to point you in the right direction?

A bit late but for future reference, I am pretty sure that Peggy the head of Porty High is a Gaelic speaker.
