Proposals for new building look likely to get the go-ahead

A furious row over the new Portobello High School will come to a head tomorrow when the City of Edinburgh Council take a final decision on its future.

The controversial project has divided members of the seaside resort over recent years, with those supporting the replacement of the 1960s building facing stiff opposition from groups campaigning against its location in Portobello Park.

My take on the latest tripe from the greenkeepers?

I'd say the "40" park supporters parked their vehicles in proximity to the park entrance in another futile attempt to mask the truth. You will notice they provided a link to the EN article so that their supporters could make a comment on saving the park. Around 30 or comments were made and not a single one in direct support of the park.
