"TWARDOGÓRA ŁÓDŹ BIAŁYSTOK"... WTF? Names of three Polish towns/cities in graffiti along the Promenade in Portobello, Edinburgh?!?
Polish Prom graffiti
Twardogóra - a wee town in SW Poland
Łódź - third largest city in Poland
Białystok - largest city in NE Poland

It looked quite nice in the moonlight tonight with a kind of silvery glow....
Enough of your nonsense - get back to the Play Pen!

I think it shows the diversity of our community. A fine example of urban art.

They should have talked to Paul Lambie first about this.

There is a picture in the '
Welcome to Edinburgh' story in the Evening Snooze of someone standing in front of this graffiti, holding a paint roller. I assume it's Paul Lambie but with the EN you can never be sure.

The paint roller and location were the Evening News's idea. I think the graffiti piece is excellent and I've nothing against paint rollers either but the photo makes if look like I'm going to roller over someone else's work. That was a big, ugly, empty wall and now it has a meaning and it looks great.

Starr!
its a funny graphic but i don't like the song, my heart used to sink at a Bruce concert when they played it. And whether War is good for nothing, is somewhat debatable. Written in '69 it may be War specific?
