He's a lovely lad and good at getting stuff down of high shelves.
Smelly socks are as bad as he gets
BUT he's allergic to cats
we'd love a cat/kitten
his sis suggested we get a garden shed and he could live in that. ( naughty Baby Dragon )

Plug and I saw the Tardis door was open at lunchtime and that there was a pile of sandbags on the Prom wall, so we got quite excited about filling our sandbags, but when we went out a wee while later there was no-one about. Sadly, I think from a brief trawl through the links that it doesn't start until Monday. Will keep an eye out the window though!!

Think he was just rehearsing getting the sandbags out.....then putting them back.....then getting them out........practice makes perfect after all

Just been speaking to HJR - a very nice young man. Rather like High Grant - only more more rugged and younger!

Anyway, after establishing that this is May not June (

) and therefore there are 4 weeks to fill a bag, he was saying that a group of kids, having chanced upon him, have already filled 100 bags - they seem to having a great time!

Oops! I must get a bigger monitor as I have trouble reading/typing on all sorts of sites and files with this one and my reading sight is getting worserer and worserer. I suppose I could use a big font but then I'd forget to reduce it!!

I took a toddle down yesterday evening with Clanger 2. We filled a dozen bags. Its ages since I played in the sand with my son
Poor Clanger 2 has a really sore back so he mostly held the sack.
It easier than you'd think to fill the sacks
Jephson has black tubes that you put in the sack, fill the tube to the top, pull tube out and voila, sack filled to correct level

I did take a photo of a pile of sacks but the stupid computer has hid the file ( ok the stupid wummin woking the pc doesn't see which file she put it in )

While we were down there 2 jet skiers came noisily by. Very close to shore
Anyone know who we can complain to if the jet skiers are ignoring the golden balls?

I've been talking to our artist Jephs about organising some stargazing events at the Wonder. They should be great for lying back and watching some meteor showers this Summer and I reckon we can use the tops of the pyramids as sight lines on stars and planets. Is anyone interested?

Sometimes he heads to the hills to get away from the city lights but I don't think the pyramids are portable

I was down filling sacks on Tuesday night with Baby Dragon, a couple of her teachers were there helping/passing by, she was muttering about not getting away from school even when on exam leave!
Its great fun having an excuse to play in the sand again, I ache a bit though, with all this unaccustomed exercise

Yet another visit to the land of sandbags tonight. When I am out with the kids I simply cannot pass by without them them begging to get stuck in and fill and play some more. They absolutely love it - I think they will be filling 30,000 on their own. Me, I just sat on the wall chatting.

possible silly question , where exactly is this on the prom ? lazy magbagpuss has not been too see yet . Have been very busy with overtime at work / 7am to 6-7pm days for last week or so . Now it's over I'm off on Sunday so will manage a meander.as always cheers fellow porty peeps !
