BTOTB GG08: Petalostia Gigantea 'Rostbraun'

Post by Sandra » 03 Aug 2008, 12:55

My favourite is exhibit no.22 in Bedford Terrace - Petalostia Gigantea 'Rostbraun' Andrea Geile - Metal work challenging the notions of garden art and land sculpture.

If I had a garden I'd like these to be a permanent feature :D

BTOTB GG08: Brilliant!

I've just come back from holiday and seen all the gardens. What a truly brilliant idea and a lot of fun. Well done to all the artists and to everybody for donating their garden. Let's do this again!

Couldn't agree more, and one of the best things about it is how much it grabs the kids. Ours come running to us wild with excitement whenever they spot one they haven't seen before. I love that every summer there is some art that my children feel somehow engaged with. Well done once again BTOB.
All I really need is love, but a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt!

I agree it's a brilliant idea to turn a community into a gallery.

Took a walk round - it's great but the weather hasn't been.
The following photos summed it up for me.
