Portobello and Craigmillar Neighbourhood Partnership had been allocated £713,478 for the remaining six months of 2008/2009 and £1 ,466,472 for the financial year 2009-2010.
I was suprised by the sums involved. Anyone know what the Fairer Scotland Fund is about?

Click here to viewFairer Scotland Fund FAQs from Scottish Executive website, or Scottish Government as its now commonly known as. (Although id point out that in accordance with the Scotland Act, it is still legally the Scottish Executive.)

So it's replaced a number of previous funding sources. That'll explain it I suppose.
