we received neighbour notification from the Council this morning that the owners of the former church at above location have applied for planning permission to convert to a dwelling house, demolishing the church hall and ancillary outbuildings.

From the plans, it looks like a reasonably sympathetic conversion to me, it's a splendid little building. It'll be good to have the current windows replaced at least. I've never seen the halls at the back, will they be missed?
