What's on your mouse mat?
What's on your mouse mat?
Not that I'm bored tonight or anything. I always went in for plain ones (or free ones) myself until very recently, when we found one we just had to have.
All I really need is love, but a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt!

So, you have yet to get to the stage when the kids "borrow" the batteries from the TV or Hi-fi control? What goes around comes around....Bob wrote:Optical IR mouse for me too. Mouse mats are history Bellybabe. No more snagged cables, no more de-fluffing. Only drawback is when the batteries run out and you don't have replacements, but if you have children you just commandeer the batteries from one of their toys (preferably a noisy one).
.....ambition makes you look pretty ugly

Yes, I've heard that....but not relevant to this topic!
Hm. We had a wireless mouse thingy but it drove us a bit mad so we abandoned it and returned to the prehistoric days we prefer. And anyway you techie show off types might all have them but I bet there are lots of POLers who still have mouse mats. So there. And anyway, it's worth having an old fashioned one so that I can gaze at my mouse mat and not a boring old desk.
*sniff*

Mr Magnolia - please refer to the specific thread re aforementioned offensive birds!
Back to mousemats then. We don't use one either coz our little ball is on top of the mouse, therefore no need to get RSI by moving the thing all over the room in order to find the cursor!

Enough of your nonsense - get back to the Play Pen!
I'm afraid I'm still a bit of a dinosaur when it comes to things like mousemats, I still use one although the one in use is a boring University of Edinburgh Science freeby. Will get my nice personalised dog one back if I can find where the pesky son has hidden it (it's not cool !!!)
I have one of those ball things on the top of the mouse too but prefer the old fashioned way.

I haven't touched your mousemat, but that one you ARE using is mine!teddygirl wrote:I'm afraid I'm still a bit of a dinosaur when it comes to things like mousemats, I still use one although the one in use is a boring University of Edinburgh Science freeby.
