Sad person that I am, I checked out FR for all hits on Orlando Bloom. There's quite a few schools out there claiming him :D

I seem to recollect Paul Young (the fishing enthusiast) travelling by bus to George Heriot's.

Here's Orlando Bloom's FR entry:
What I'm doing now

hey everyone..(or the few that made my acquaintance) only attended for 1 year before moving south...but had fun!
in the film industry now but you probably already know that...
Is it true? Is it a wind-up? I have no idea. Epykat - you must know?

You could put Davie in many categories (most unmentionable), But 'Famous' ....I don’t think so

I think it's a load of tosh! Can't find anybody who remembers him (and I'm pretty sure with a name like Orlando at Porty he'd be unforgettable!)
Enough of your nonsense - get back to the Play Pen!

I was bored so I did some research - no biography shows Orlando having spent any time at Porty High - he went to Canterbury's St Edmund's School until he was 16, then in 1993 he went to London to a theatre school (or company, something like that). I suppose that would mean if he ever WAS at Porty, he'd have to have gone between 1989 and 1993 approx :)
