Cokkney rhyming slang?
Nah, these ones are ok as far as Bankers go. First time i'd met the boss and he also seemed sound. They like the look of the Dalraida but observed that:

Too much menu choice for too little customers.
Staff to Customer ratio was 1:2.
Service was bitty: 2 of us had more or less finished our main courses before the other two had theirs delivered.

A right barrell of laughs they were.

Meantime you could have been having a laugh with me in your office... Ach well. My walk of shame was quite a jaunty stroll, since you two weren't there!
BTW, having avatar trouble, or has my PC got PMS? Your cat seemed to have grown rather swollen when last I looked, and now has vanished completely. Did he explode?

Well, no word from Gail - I imagine she's probably a bit upset about Spike. So it's just the 12 of us but if anyone would like to join us afterwards for a drink they would be most welcome. We'll be the drunken rabble in the corner. There's still room at the inn for any latecomers for Xmas lunch. Just pay your £10 deposit at the bar before the 4th.

Think there is a common consensus that 2.00 is too late to start drinking and we really ought to start in the bar of "The Dalriada" that little bit sooner :occasion5:
The question now is how much sooner? How about 1.00 p.m.?

BTW I want to last the pace so that I can stay out till the bitter end.....and then my other half won't disappear off to camp (yes, I'm talking tents here) in Glencoe, taking the car with him :boxing: :iroc:

Apologies to everyone, Bearcub said that I was very drunk on Saturday and if I was obnoxious to anyone I am sorry.
