Christmas Avatars - Wahey !!!
Christmas Avatars - Wahey !!!
Oh great, Xmas avatars have started. Well I was planning on buying a better processor and more memory anyway, plus a pair of sunglasses. Because if there's one thing that has helped cure the internet of any pretence of being a tool for enhancing and exchanging knowledge and made it more like Vegas on lsd, it's the animated gif. Roll on the useless megabytes of gratuitous Yule.
You *did* know some of your avatars are 800k, didn't you?
"Oh I don't worry about all that, I just click on things!"
Yes, look at the pretty Snowmen.
"But everyone has broadband now anyway!!"
No, they don't.
*goes back to doghouse*

Since the lunatics appear to have taken over the asylum (ooh, not very pc, that), perhaps we should have a mutiny? We could confine Bob and all his co-conspirators to the brig, Christmas cheerless, until the end of January, and ban all things festive until said time.
How about it?
And we could ban the exchanging of Christmas presents. Oh, too late - that's already against the law.

I watched a lot of that film through my fingers! There were other scenes from that film that I recall being much more violent than the end one so Monkeyboy's avatar could be worse.Dadaist wrote:It's from the end scene of Scarface. It's where the bad guys have decided to play rough, and are saying hello to Tony Montana's "little friend".
Catz did the biz for me last year too. What a grand chap he is.
However, I think this may be as Christmassy as I get this year...but I did at least make an effort to get changed.
